Inquisitive Pup’s Misadventure: Dog Stuck in Wall After Poking Head Through Dryer Vent – Rescued by Emergency Responders

Luckily, the local police and firefighters swooped in to rescue him from his unusual predicament on November 30 in Sumter, South Carolina.
The Sumter Police Department’s Facebook page shared the heartwarming story of Spike, a dog who got stuck in a wall while under the care of his owner’s grandmother, Drusilla Harvin. She sought help when she couldn’t free Spike herself.
Thankfully, officers from both the Sumter Police Department and the Sumter Fire Department arrived to the scene. They worked together to carefully disassemble the wall, creating enough space for Spike to wiggle his way out. The entire rescue operation lasted about an hour, with photos capturing the dedicated responders in action.

The post assured concerned followers that Spike was safe and sound after being rescued from a sticky situation, and was already off on his next adventure of the day.
One grateful commenter, Drusilla, expressed her gratitude towards the police and fire department for their efforts in saving Spike. Despite the odd circumstances, Spike’s grandmother wasn’t too shocked by his escapade, noting that he has a knack for getting himself into mischief, as reported by WLTX.
